The Brunswick Zanzibar -- yours for 25k

Very pretty...but I'd rather have a restored centennial. Ahhh, lottery fantasies! My house can't hold a pool table...

I'm partial to the Marquette, if I had that kind of money to spend on a table.

I hope Glen chimes in on this thread. I would love to hear his analysis on the playability of a 25 thousand dollar furniture table. I know the kind of customer that buys a pool table like this doesn't probably care about the playability too much, but still, 25g's for some fancy wood and steel ornaments!!?? What kind of a rube would buy a table like this!?

For that kind of scratch I could have a brand new diamond pro am set up to perfection and a snooker table...with enough left over for one hell of a nice cue!

You nailed it. I'd go for a Diamond Pro-Am and a Joss West. You?

I'd definitely get the pro-am like you said, and a joss west? well you cant really go wrong there!! I might go with a black boar or a nice titleist conversion of some kind. If I had all that plus the snooker table, a case of elijah craig, a few cartons of reds, and a taco bell nearby...well then I'd probably turn into one hell of a drunken pool playing hermit.

i love the old AMERICAN MADE B-Wick tables, this Zanzibar table is beatiful no doubt it and probably dosent cost B-Wick $2500 delivered to the port. I have looked very carefully at their new super fancy tables at the BCA trade show and they are good from far, and far from good. They are high quality Chinese furnature,

I wouldnt mind spending that much money on a B-Wick but it would probably be 75-100 years old.

here is a link to a 5'X10' box it was offered to me at just over 6 figures, about 2 1/2 years ago, I passed because I just closed my biz, I made the right decision but I sure do regret the bad timing.

I'd move out side to make room for this table if had to. Man what a table. It was sold to someone in Russia, so sadly I doubt it will ever come back to America. Its the most ornate table I have ever seen. But not my favorite of all time.

You da man, FB. Couldn't agree more.

From their website:

NOTE: Each pool table purchased requires at least an additional $300 for Professional Delivery and Installation.

You would think for 25k they might toss in the delivery and install!
