Just been looking through last years super billiard expo programme (thanks to justbreak) and came across the chameleon rack and wondered if anyone has used and whether they would like to see it used in tv 8 ball and 9 ball tournaments.

Also can anyone who is from the uk tell me if their is anyone here that stocks them as they look pretty cool and better than the sardo.

That's the company. It's a cool rack, and I think it will work better than the SARDO just from a handling point of view. But, I don't know if they are actually in production. If you do a search for("chameleon rack" pool), you'll see some online suppliers.

I saw and used them in Vegas and they're so much better and easier to use. It isn't gimmicky and you don't have to rape your table by hammering into the slate.

The 3-D movie of the rack never completes loading.
I waited 20 minutes (I have cable) and it was still going.
I stopped the action, and played it, and only the intro
played for 2-3 seconds, so I did not get to see it in action.

It is being offered at http://www.cuestix.com for $89.50

Great for tournaments, etc.., but priced too high for your normal
billiard room to spring for. It's plastic for heaven sakes, the cost
of production is not that much, except possibly for setup costs.

It should be able to sell for no more than $29.95. Then billiard room
owners would purchase 1 or 2.

I like the looks better than Sardo ($150) though.
