Thanks to the author of the book “the Great Break Shot” Charley Bond (ceebee), for a great book! I got my copy a couple of weeks ago and have been reading through it. There is a lot of great information on the break-shot for people of all levels. I think this book is a good place to start if you want to get your break-shot down. Charley is good people too, if you ever get a chance to talk to him, he knows a whole lot about a lot of things, not just pool. :)

I recieved mine as well, and am enjoying the book. I do think some of the information may be a little too technical for some people, but so far I would say all in all its a good book.

I am waiting to write my review untill I have had a chance to get through the whole book and give myself a little time to proccess the info.

I will say that just glancing through the book has got me thinking about things on the break a little differently, and I am breaking the balls better.

It is a good book and meets it purpose. I have almost all of the books on pool & billiards written with in the last 10 years and would consider Charley's book to be one of the better ones.
I find it well worth the $25..

Thanks to you folks for your kind words. I have been personally congratulated by many on the phone & email. Glad to see that some of you took the tiime to put the message on the board.

There is a lot of tecnical info in the book. Playing Pool is a technical game. Once the difficult information is digested, the easier the shot will become.

The critical problem with the break shot is accuracy of hit. Hitting the cue ball straight with medium speed is difficult for most (the long draw is a good analogy, that shot plagues a lot of players). Hitting the cue ball straight & hard is difficult for everyone, look at the break shot of all the Pros, the cue ball gets away from everyone.

Hopefully this book by Joe Tucker & myself will help a lot of players with this difficlt & complex shot. Thanks for your support.
