History has proven that a good movie about our game is highly rewarded, so why hasn't Hollywood followed up with a new movie yet?? Isn't there a billiard industry lobby composed of equipment manufacturers that can push for a project like this? Isn't there an independent filmmaker that would like to create a movie like this ala The Blair Witch Project?

Give me Tom Cruise acting incredibly stupid as a pool player again, or Jack Black playing Kid Delicious, just give me something already!

Well, if I had it within my power I would give you "The Color of Money". Not just the title but a movie based on the book.

Years ago hollywood came out with Pool Hall Junkies, and this got panned pretty badly. They're in the business of making money, which is why these days you only see sequels (guaranteed money makers, eh losses according to hollywood accounting practices).

You want to support a movie? Here is a trailer from an independent movie producer. Movie has Jennifer Baretta, Jeanette Lee, and Allison Fisher. Its been discussed a few times on AZ. Let's hope it gets finished and into mainstream distribution.
