The Limb Saver X-1

I fitted a limb saver to one of my cues yesterday and took it out for some
pool last night.

The device screwed into the weight bolt hole and was removable so the cue
could be used with or without it attached.
I let several players shoot with the cue first with just the cue and then
with the Limb saver X-1 attached.
It was unanimous that it did what it was designed to do.
It deadened the feel and also the sound of the cue when it hit the ball.

Personally ... I don't like the way it makes the cue feel.
Only one other person thought it was something they might want on their cue.
That reinforced my opinion that "hit" and "feel" are very subjective things
and different people like different things.

If you like a cue that goes "thud" when it hits the ball ... one that feels
subdued and quiet ... this might be just what you are looking for.
The cost is reasonable and it makes your cue look very high tech.

Weigh ...

What is the weight difference with it on? I would think the balance might
feel a little funny with it on...

It weighs less than an ounce (about the same as the normal bumper) so the balance does not change much at all.
Yes ... it makes the cue feel "funny" <grin>
Everyone that tried it smiled.
