The Poison Billiards - VX 2.9 Jump Break Pool Cue

Cue

Looks more like a 'gimmick' cue than anything else. One place it said a phenolic tip, another said a Safin tip with 8 layers.

I think you would do better getting a J&J or Fury Break/Jump cue. They are being discounted 20% all over the place from 199.95 down to 159.95.

You can do better for the money.

I'm just curious if anyone has tried or tested the Poison Billiards - VX 2.9 Jump Break Pool Cue. I'm seriously considering buying one, but I just don't want to get stuck with a lemon break cue. Has anyone read or received any reviews or feedback on this break cue?

IMO buy a cue you know is munufactured by a person or company that has a passion for making a cue do what it's supposed to. And stay clear of a cue that is new on the market trying to ride the billiards money train!

Varney will custom make you a jamb up J/B cue designed to do those 2 things very well. And with a tip that allows english on the CB while maintaining a solid hit.

IMO

i'm in no way endorsing this cue line, as i think they are the ugliest cues i've seen next to that green spiraled viking in the for sale section, plus i've never hit with one, but poison cues are manufactured by predator.
