Has anyone read this book

Its entitled "The Pool Room" by Sig Ragland

I am probably going to order it and was just curious for a review if anyone had read it.

I just ordered it from my local barnes and noble. It will be 5 business days until they receive it though. It had some really good reviews on B&N as well as amazon, so I am definately interested.

Thanks for the heads up.

if its the book i think it is i read it last year, it was ok....dont think id buy it again but ive read worse.

It's a pretty good book, only 143 pages, a real easy read. About a pool room in OK City, lot of action sequences with players you'll recognize (even though the author uses fictitious names, Buddy Rock, James Weldon, etc). Small publisher, won't get reprinted, so it's a good investment, as someone posted in another thread. Don't expect "Playing Off the Rail" or "Hustler Days", but I would recommend buying one while you can get it at a reasonable price.
