Thank you Mike!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike Blomgren for his support and dedication to The Pool Room. Without Mike, The Pool Room would not be where it is right now in the hearts and souls of many pool players. Mike had set up and ran numerous leagues and tournaments at The Pool Room in the past. His dedication to The Pool Room is greatly appreciated. He will be missed by all of us.

Thank you Mike and good luck with your new life and adventure.

Mike 'defined' how to run a tournament. It has been amazing how many tournaments he has run with all participants enjoying the touney's without incident. Most places have many foul things to say about the tournament directors, never trusting that they have been given a fair shake. Not with Mike, though. One word that comes to mind when remembering Mike's tournaments is TRUST!!! Mike garnered trust among all participants where few others could. He also was gifted with a great annnouncing voice that made it clear who was playing who and when.
Mike has made many friends at the Poolroom and will be sorely missed.
