Does anyone know of any good B tournaments in the tri state area coming soon? Maybe even an A and B tournament without any "REAL" strong players. Any info would be appreciated.

Harvywallbanger said:The kind you ask. If you don't want to answer it find a different thread. I'm looking for some good tournaments in the tri state area. Simple enough. If you don't know of any or are not from around that area no big deal but you don't have to throw a jab at me. sheesh.
EDIT: I'll post it in the tournament forum. I'm new here and forgot there was a tournament forum. Or if the moderater sees this can you simply move it over there for me?
This questions sounds like, "I'm hungry but I don't want to eat" or "I need money but I don't want to work". You want to play in a tournament without any "REAL" strong players?!? You're looking in the wrong direction if you want to play in an A or B tournament. A players are strong players and B players can have a good day. What it sounds like you want to play in is a B,C tournament; not an A, B one. If you don't think A players are strong, then you must not know the game very well to begin with.Harvywallbanger said:Does anyone know of any good B tournaments in the tri state area coming soon? NYC cue dude said:seems to me the poster wants to play with A's and B's as this is probably his speed but doesn't want to be thrown in with opens and pros. Not an ureasonable position.
Poster also says he is new, perhaps we could have shown a bit more restraint and patience?
The answer is.... check listings in the NYC area for "the tri-state tour". They have frequent weekend tournaments where A's and B's play and the "REAL" strong (opens and Pros) have their own division.
