Hello,
I am here with some THOUGHT PROVOKING (food for your thought) info.(to be found in neither any book nor a video nor can be learnt through any instruction) about the ULTIMATE SECRET of AIMING and SHOT MAKING.
I am sure every player, given aTHOUGHT to it,realises the TRUTH in it.
What do you think you have actually done (confirmed) with your mind when you are about to deliver your stroke?
Your thoughts of confirmation will usually be on:
1.the aim point.(visual part of aiming)
2.the line of aim.(mental part)
With a 'feeling' that you have confirmed these two things, you deliver your stroke.
But....(you believe it or not)...the mind's actual role in aiming and shot making is different.
It is in a way a SECRET GIMMICK played our minnd.
When you are about to shoot, your mind HAD ALREADY completed(even under a normal or minimal level of concentration) a "specific routine" (the simple geometric routine of my sure shot aiming system) on the line of aim.
This completion of routine is done in TWO ways ( the one and the SAME routine but with different purposes !!) and SIMULTANEOUSLY.
(In fact... this very automated completion of the routine it self gives a player a CHOICE between a SPIN STROKE and a SPIN LESS STROKE.)
The TWO ways are:
1.In the FORWARD direction og the aim line.
2.In the BACK WARD (reverse) direction.
Right at the MOMENT of striking the ball a player is READY with this specific "mental state".
Now..when he decides to deliver his stroke,he HAS to choose between these two options.
1.If he wants a spin stroke,he chooses the routine in the back ward direction and delivers his stroke with his concentration on the respective routine and
2.If he wants a spin less stroke,he chooses the routine in the forward direction.
Either of these options is SURE to give him a successful shot.
Then when do we miss a shot?
It is when we,in the process of this choice making, lose BOTH the routines !!!!!!!!
Hope this info. certainly helps giving some INSIGHT into the very WAY or METHOD of your aiming and shot making.
Thanks,IMMSHARMA (immsharma@yahoo.com)
