The Willard Cutter and Tipper

Have been doing tips with the Tweeten top sander and Porper shaver and they come out pretty good. What I would like to know is how good or easier is the Willard Cutter and Tipper? I'm sure there has to be some posters out there that have used it or are familiar with it. Your opinions please. The retail on it is $495, but through Mueller's it is $395 and through other sources it is probably cheaper yet. Don't hold back, I and everybody else wants to hear what you think. Thanks

For that much, I'd buy a mini lathe.

Yes it is a little more $$$ than I think it should be, I have had mine for 10 years...works quite good., really great if you want something portable..but...I would now probably buy a small mini lathe for stationary use.
