I've got to admit it looked like a walkover for Mark Williams in this final but john higgins dug deep to make it a match and it turned out to be a great final , two sharks playing on the green baize hahahaha !

Five things I learned from this years World Championships .

1. Snookerbacker is one of the best tipsters when it comes to having a Snooker bet .

2. You just cannot rule out the 'Old School' players .

3. BBC TV is destroying the coverage of the Championships by switching the coverage from live TV to press the Red Button , watch it it Online etc.

4. 'Old School' Scottish players talk a lot of sense in the commentary box if you understand the lingo .

5. I still get to meet some good buddy's here on Azbilliards !

I collected £29 for the E/W bets so doubled the stake money plus £1 so I placed my first £1 E/W bet for next year and it's not on that Top 5 list , you have to scroll way down on the list for this bet .

Ladbrokes were 300/1 about Lyu Haotian and before you laugh at this selection of mine's just remember this kid pushed a seasonal campaigner , Barry Hawkins but just fell short in the final few frames but he has a year to develop his game to the next level and I hope he wins a few titles before then and just as John Virgo would say , you just never know !

The Johnny Archer Bobblehead Doll #83/100 is standing guard on the bet and I dare say a few more bets will be placed before the next years World Championships ! :wink::grin::thumbup:
