Think Sportscenter will mention it?

He's certainly deserving of it. But what do you think the chances are?

Maybe. The beer commercials were very popular. If they do mention it, they might run a piece from one of those and relate it to "math teacher who became a pool champion who made the beer commercials" rather than so many championships and what he did for the game..

It was mentioned towards the end of the Pardon the Interruption show that preceded Sportscenter Monday night.

Tony Kornheiser made a couple of comments about he had seen some of his trick shot exhibitions and was "amazed" at how he could back up the cue ball a full table length. He also said something to the effect that pool isn't really thought of as a sport but is a game of incredible skill.

Naturally, they offered their sympathies and regrets.

Just thought I'd let y'all know.
