On the butt, against a piece of inlay, needs to be filled.
Most can't even see it, but I know it's there....
Maybe I'll just borrow a crayon from my niece .... lol
What do you suggest?
Real reality check ....
If you take care of it, it will take care of you~~~~
Your best bet is to take it to a qualified cuemaker or repair person who can make the necessary repair, then finish over it. You may be able to get away with a simple super glue fill and even super glue finish, but it's not a job for a novice. Meucci's are notorious for inlays popping, due to the thermo-plastics used. They do not bond well and have a different rate of expansion, than the natural materials they are usually glued in to. I have one in the shop now that belonged to a buddy of mines father. He passed away and left it to my buddy who wants me to transform it into a cue stick. It is a job that would normally wouldn't be worth the costs, but it's a buddy with a cue that has considerably more sentamental value than intrinsic!
just more hot air!
