There's rarely any advertising for pool events. Info is generally "heard thru the grapevine", and this is the thickest grapevine out there! Wish I could be there, I only live 15 minutes from the Break.

This May be an ALL-STAR Tournament!

Zim - This is shaping up to be a great event. With GABE OWENS coming in, the phone has been busy with other great players calling ahead. If nothing else, see if you can make the finals on Sunday afternoon. To introduce ourselves to each other, "I TELL YOU WHAT I'M GOING TO DO" - I'll give you 2 games "On The Wire" - 9 Ball - In a race to 8 - For "ONE OF THE BEST 18 OZ CHAR-BROILED RIB-EYE STEAK DINNERS YOU HAVE EVER HAD".
If not - "Good Luck With The Newborn" - I can still remember those days as being some of my best. - ENJOY!
 
Oh, Oh, Gabe's been Challenged for the whole $30K

A "Reliable Source" has just informed me that there is an official offer "On The Table" for Gabe to play a 6 ahead One-Pocket match for ALL or Any of the $30K he just won at the U.S. Open. This player said he will be at the tourney this weekend. He has blown a lota cash lately - I guess he thinks he can get even by beating Gabe.
I know this guy - and all I can think is - "He's Mad At His Money"!
I know where this Rail-Birds $$$ will be!
