I was surprised his name wasn't mentioned in the "BEST CUES" thread. My understanding is he built and sold the most expensive cue ever (or atleast it was up there). Don't hear much of him or his cues on the forum. Does he still build cues?

If the criteria is decorative creativity then Thomas is absolutely the best. He did things that cuemakers are still trying to duplicate.
He defintitely raised the bar.
Bob Meucci ought to get a proper mention as well. I don't think you will find a manufacturer on the planet who has had the diversity of design as Bob has had for 30 years. There are a lot of designs out there, especially in the decal era but most are quite alike. Bob on the other hand puts out dozens of DIFFERENT cues each year.
