Thoughts on a 17'10" x 22'2" space?

Any thoughts on a 17'10" x 22'2" room for a 9' table?

I know it surpasses the minimum reccomended dimensions but will it provide for a comfortable playing area?

Due to one side of the space acting as a hall of sorts, I'll have to keep the table centered in the room; possibly impacting an already non-ideal seating area (side of the table vs. end corners).

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

9'table

With those dimensions you will have room for a 9' table and that is about it. Seating will more than likely be uncomfortable, doubt if you would be able to stay seated if that is where the cue ball comes to rest.

A couple of years ago I pointed out that stance is more important than being able to stroke the cue. If the stance is good all around the table with the cue ball on the rail, then the stroke will be good. My right foot is usually 1 foot further back than the butt of the cue.

My pool room is 17' x 23' with a 9-foot GC. Plenty of room for playing comfortably. My only problem is that there are four doors - one in each corner - which limits the seating arrangements.

You should have no problems.
