Hello everyone:
I am bit of newbie getting back into sport. Would like to hear feedback on Cue maker Keith Josey and Esoteric custom cues (Rick) ? How do they hit compared to say a Schon or Espiritu cues ? Do you think either makers cues would be at some point a collector level brand like Black,Gina, Scruggs etc. Amazed at the workmanship of so many custom makers ! Thanks very much. :)

I think you mean KEITH Josey. Excellent cues, fairly stiff w/excellent feedback on standard shaft. Never heard bad about him or his cues. I haven't used his timeless timber shaft. I have no experience with Esoteric !!!

The cocobolo cue in my avatar is a Keith Josey. Best feeling cue I've played with. Everyone that has tried it has said it plays well, and it is very well built

Rick (Esoteric Cues) is a fantastic builder. His cues are cored with a laminated maple rod. It has a solid hit. He could do almost any design. He is great to work with. He learned his craft from many people. I would recommend him to anyone. He uses a 3/8 x 14 pin (like the Omega DPK). He is also a fascinating person with a hugh wealth of knowledge.

Hello members:
I bought the Esoteric/ Steve Symon Skull & bones cue that was built for a AZ member. Awesome workmanship and design. Spoke to Rick (Esoteric) and he truly is a fantastic individual and very informative with my many questions being a newbie. His work is perfection for sure and have heard nothing but praise about his cues and character as a person ! Can't go wrong with Esoteric Cues.
