Can someone tell me where I can get a lathe pin for the Jackson cues? Thank you.

Gene

Last time I checked he was using a 9/32x18 thread. At least this is what he told me. He did send me a replacement pin for $5. I ended up chucking that into my lathe to work on the one Jackson that I have. If its a dire necessity then you could have a machine shop make you one, or do it yourself on a cnc

Thanks Mike, but I have already contacted them via email and am awaiting a return response. Best thing is to always go to the original source. Just trying to speed things up a bit.

When you get in touch with them, try and get an insert to so you can make your own maintenance kit.

They did get back to me. Shag fu is correct. They were using a 9/32x18 thread. However, they are now using the 5/16-14 on their new cues being produced.

Thanks guys.

Nice try, I already have them all, along with the taps.

It doesn't look like an insert but the 9/32's is actually made out of phenolic.

I wish they would make up their mind on which pin size to use. When I called them they had 2 sizes they used;5/16-18, 9/32-18. Now they are changing to 5/16-14. At least they are moving to a more common thread.
