Does anybody have a thread tap for my lucassi cue shaft or know where I can send it to have the threads chased. Screws together way to hard for my likeing. Not sure what size it is it could be the uniloc thread.
If it's a Uniloc Quick Release pin, your problem could just be the smooth pin that inserts into the shaft before the screw threads catch. Sometimes some gunk (technical term) builds up on the smooth pin. Take a small piece of 400 grit sandpaper and give the smooth part of the pin a few twists. It might solve the problem.

I have seen this before on a team mates cue. I believe you are talking about a uniloc radial pin. My friends cue was rediculasly tight to put together. I would like to suggest you take a little wax and place it in the hole in of your shaft or on the front part of the pin. Screw them together a couple of times. If still tight repeat. As stated in other threads this will help for awhile and you might have to do it again at a later date.
Any cuemaker that has a radial tap should be able to help you if you still want to chase the threads. There is an undersized tap and a regular sized tap.
