Just got done testing it out last night at league. Everyone has their own categories to judge cues so I will just use what I think is important.
Appearance: B
The cue looks and feels like a break cue. The shaft is bigger then your normal cue (standard among break cues). The look of the cue is simple, but definitely a step up from a plain jane (obviously a personal preference).
Breaking ability: B
This is kind of a hard category to use because a lot involves the player and how he is breaking with his technique etc. I normally use a 21 oz cue to break and this was 19.5 and I could definitely tell the bit of difference here. The breaks were pretty normal, nothing out of the ordinary, and nothing really "special" apart from any other cue I have broken with.
Tip: A-
This is the unique part of the cue. It has a phenolic tip with leather in the middle of the tip...very different from what I have seen before. It held chalk decently well considering you dont need to chalk that type of tip much at all. As for jumps, I am not very good at them and don't practice them. However I was able to jump better then normal using this cue.
Overall: B
The cue is not the best break cue I have seen or used, but definitely not a bad break cue either. If you jump a lot it is nice that you can have two jump cue lengths (see their website). I am going to try to make the cue heavier to give it a second go around. I will also be curious on how well the tip holds up because I have heard of others that have had it come off fairly early from them owning it. All in all it is a very decent break cue for under $400.
