So I found a site where I can buy a Tiger Partial for about $90....that is the cheapest I ave come across.

How much do think it would cost to get a partial fitted with a viking Q-release and a Viking G-08 phenolic ring?

Do you think I can keep this whole process under $150?

and if you are in Texas I might contact you about this so let me know what you think and thanks for your replies!

Tiger cues are made by jacoby. You can probably call them up and get a partial to your liking ;)

I have the Partial Tiger Shaft already.... I just want to know who can put a viking q-release joint on it and then match the ring to the cue I have and at what cost...sorry for the confusion

So no one out there does this kinda work? I'm just kidding...is anyone interested in doing this then?

Unless someone has that ring-work in stock, you may not hit your target price. Ring billets take time & talent to build. I can build what you ask, I build custom ring shafts everyday. There's nothing difficult about that ring, it just takes time. Couple that with the fact that I may never have call for another Viking G-08 to build so I'll have built a billet for just one shaft. Not very cost effective. Price will reflect that.

You supply the shaft and I'll build it to mate & match for $85.
I 'll also give you 1/2 of the completed billet as well. Should you ever want more shafts, regardless of who builds them, you'll already have the ring-work. The next shafts would be considerably cheaper. Please PM if you'd like to talk.

I really appreciate the reply... I think I might contact Viking and see if they will send me a ring...this is still probably at least a few months off but I will get back to you if it doesn't fall through...thanks again!

My catalog price for matching an aftermarket shaft is $45. That includes the insert and collars. I have that billet premade. Figure a week to complete.

As fate would have it, your good fortune has brought you another offer.
As I stated, cost for the work involved would be determined by the cost of building the billet. Since Ryan states that he already has this particular billet in stock, you'd realize the difference in price quotes which is a substantial savings. Sometimes it's a 'no-brainer'.
