Tiger shaft players...hit and sound question's from a first timer using one

My first experience with a Tiger lamanated shaft today.50 years with a standard shaft.Cue is my old 3/8 pin D1 McDermott.The shaft hit has no sound per say, if that is the correct way of putting it.a very solid hit, dont get me wrong i am not judging it but am i missing something or is this the norm on these type of shafts?

I thought i would try one since i want a Lambros with his new shaft.
