Tim Scruggs cue info

I have a cue that a collector said he got back in the mid 80's. He said it is a Scruggs, but I can't find any logo. This isn't for sale, but I am very interested in verifying that it is a Scruggs and possibly any other information about it. Very old but in great shape. I know that Tim closed up shop but is there someone else that could help with verification?
