Hi ya'll,

After much soul searching, I want to try and get another Scruggs hustler cue. Had one awhile back, but alas, I sold it in a time of desperation.

I've seen them sell for anywhere between $200 (for ugly and crooked) and $650-ish (for straight and with 2 shafts).

Of course, I've got the Wayne Holmes cue available for a possible partial trade...but want to find one, regardless.

Fleabay...

Yeah, I saw those two earlier this morning. Not sure about the "hoppe style" one, as there are too many knock offs around to feel safe with buying it. Saw the other one up for auction twice now...so who knows what the deal is there.

Anyway, I'm a little hesitant about e-bay cues...much like everyone else. Quite a few of the listers don't know much about, or know how to take care of, cues....making finding a decent one even tougher.

Not to mention, of course, a partial trade for a TS (or Gilbert, or whatever) for the Wayne cue I have would be better for me, money wise.

There's GOTTA be someone out there willing to take care of this poor TS-less Rat!!!

TS Cues on Ebay

The Hoppe style cue is not a TS cue. I'm not sure if Mike made this cue or what exactly; the dimensions of this cue are slightly different from a TS. Mike is a straight-up guy to deal with :)

Rat, I'm not sure what's up with the TS SP....I think 3-forme is O.K. to deal with -- if you like the cue I'd send him an email and ask him some questions about this cue ;)

Yeah, something about the hoppe style cue didn't sit right....not sure why, but had a feeling it was a TS "tribute" cue...if you can call it that.

As for the other cue, I'll drop him a line, and see where it goes.

Thanks much to all involved with my search. I've come to the end of a short, yet still somewhat painful road, and fell into a great TS sneaky cue.

Now that this mission is complete...on to my next objective....which is STILL trading my Wayne cue.....but now I'm totally focused on doing the deal with Fast N Loose for one of those poor-hitting, poorly-constructed, visually-painful-to-look-at, worthless Pete Tascarella cues.

I swear, I'm trying to do this man a favor. His collection is far too singularly focused.......just trying to broaden his horizons, is all! :) :D

And yes, I couldn't possibly be kidding any more than this!
