Time to Stop Fluffing and Start Drilling

I would like to share with my fellow az'ers a pocket billiard Drill I came up with tonight. I must admit that I have never read a single billiard self help book so there is the chance that this is not new to anyone other than myself and if this is the case....please disregard.

Full Disclosure: For years I've been walking past my table, each time throwing out two or three balls pocketing them in numerical order and walking away like the King Rooster fluffing myself up telling myself "I Still Got It". Tonight I tried something different and it kicked me into reality. Thought I would share it with you.

DRILL

1. Toss any 4 balls onto the table
2. Pocket them in numerical order
Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you miss
When and if you miss or foul, Remove 4 additional balls take ball in hand and continue to try to run out.
Any time you miss or foul throw out 4 more balls (or as many balls are left) and give yourself ball in hand.

If you end up with all fifteen balls on the table (like I did) you will have a battle on your hands. Don't leave the table until there all gone.

Side note: I came up with this drill halfway through a box of wine while listening to Molly Hatchet: Flirting with Disaster
