To Many Pool Rooms in FLA?

I was just curious, in reading threads on here if Florida has to many pool rooms now? ( I know there can never be to many pool rooms!) It seems to me right now Florida is one of the best places for pool. I've heard there are 3 or 4 different tournaments to choose from a night all with a good turn out. The thing I want to know is, are these poolrooms popping up because of the surge of play down there? If someone could enlighten me on the pool scene down there that would be greatly appreciated.
