Jennifer,
My wife and I can't wait to watch you on TV tonight at 5 pm EST (I'll be leaving work early to go catch it). You have always been inspiring to me as a pro player as you didn't start playing pool at age 5 in a pool hall owned by your parents as so many of the other pros did. I didn't pick up my cue for the first time until 18 (got much more serious around age 30), and I like to think someday I could be really good even though I didn't grow up with the game. My wife (who doesn't know a lick about pool) is excited to see you too as we watch all televised broadcasts. You mentioned in another thread about only remembering your mistakes in the televised match. That's good! It means you're so used to making shots and having flawless position play that it's only the seldom mistake that sticks in your mind...
Good luck in your future. You have a dedicated fans in our household!
Papercut
PS -- I used to play in Amsterdam Billiards when I lived on the Upper East Side. Shame I moved away before you made it your home...
