i was thinking, could it be possible to add different tables and balls on the wei table.

I wanted to explain a snooker table setup but couldnt as the ball colors etc are different.

maybe a good idea to add the option to choose the table type, (3cussion, snooker, pool, golf etc)

juqt my 0.02c

Solly ... (Golf is played on a Snooker table). Also sent PM to Wei to read this thread.

IMO, yes it could be done. Default would be Pool table with a button to rotate it to a snooker table then to billiard table then back to Pool table.
The proper ball set would appear when table would be selected. He probably would have to add a button for automatic racking for Snooker, and maybe for random for Snooker.

I think this would greatly increase the use of the Cuetable, plus players would probably play with it more learning to use it faster and better.

scott, i dont think golf is played on snookertables... At least not here. how can u play golf if u dont have those mushroom thingies on the table? or maybe that has another name in the usa. i know here in belgium it is played on pritty small tables, 6-7" or so, never really checked.

nnshooter: aha now we are talking :D thx alot for the link.

Solly, i think that table with "mushrooms" is 5 feet at tops. And about the name of that game...local hillybillies called that billiards...go figure ;-)

with the little mushroom things? i thought that was called bumper pool?

That was exactly what i thought too, but after hearing all names what locals in here called that...well..i'm not that sure anymore:D

here its called golf billiard. i dont get it either :p

but i think it would be cool to add these options into the wei table. even 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 feet tables etc... (not that im asking for much :p) just giving some idea's to wei.

Lmao

Solly ... We call that bumper Pool here, not a real game, just a novelty.
Golf uses the numbered balls from Snooker rack, depending on # of players. A red ball is spotted on chalk on the 5 spot.

Players spot numbered ball on 6 spot (foot spot), with cue ball in D and
bank for uptable right corner (pocket 1). If you make the pocket, you continue same way going clockwise. First player to make his ball in
Pocket 6 successively (right side pocket) wins the game.

For scratches, misses, or knocking the red ball of the chalk, you get what is called a hickey. Hickey are usually worth so much, say .50 cents, and so much on the game per player, say $5.00. The winner gets game money from losers plus their hickey money.

It can be played on 10 or 12' Snooker tables, but mostly 10' here.
(This was a brief summary description of Golf).

golf is a great game

i used to have a sunday game with my father, grandfather, and a few other locals every sunday in the basement... always a great time. i remember learning a lot from those guys...
