Tor Lowry Info.

Tor is busy with his 14 day training program so that is the only teaching he is doing right now. Maybe you should send in an application the next time and if you are accepted he will come to your place.

14 day

Tor is busy with his 14 day training program so that is the only teaching he is doing right now. Maybe you should send in an application the next time and if you are accepted he will come to your place.

I didn't know he was still doing that?

where is he located, how do you know him? Thanks

Sorry, I don't know where he is right now. He just said that he is only training students through the 14 Days Show, so he is not doing personal instruction since that takes up a lot of his time.

I know Tor personally. I went thru his "14 Day...." training and stay in touch with him to this day. You won't find a better guy to share pool knowledge than Tor Lowry. He's THAT good.

Your best bet is to apply online or at the very least go to Zero-X Billiards on Facebook and see if he or one of his staff replies to you.

As is, they'll probably send you to the application, but at least you'll get a direct answer.

As for me, I still struggle with confidence and consistency, due to lack of constant table time......but, I'm sure that I'm 2 balls better in the year it's been since I went thru training.

I'm positive that I could be another 2 balls better with daily practice. I caught a gear about 2 weeks ago in a tourney that's the best I've ever been in front of other players. The only other times I've played that well was while practicing alone with no one to witness it.

I'm not a great player by any means, but Tor has given me the tools to have great moments. It's up to me to elevate that into a constant speed.

An in-person pool lesson is a great way to go, but in the meantime Tor's website offers hours of video instruction, some free, some at a reasonable cost.

The Zero-X website recently added the 4h17m "Secrets III - Controlling the Cue Ball" which is a great video for anyone playing 8, 9, or 10 ball.

The current package of all his videos totals 11 hours of instruction and costs $29.95 for the download version. The DVD set costs more.

Tor offers a lot of his video instruction free, in the form of Youtube videos. I've used YTD Video Downloader to save them to a hard drive. The Tor Lowry Youtube videos include all of Secrets II, an hour of Secrets III, and about 14 more short videos 1-10 minutes in length. I especially like his Youtube video Slip Stroke - Jab Stroke, a topic seldom covered anywhere quite as well.

In addition, Tor's "14 Days" production includes about 32 videos totally many hours of in-home instruction given free to a number of people across America.

The Zero-X website has made a great effort to have a lot of pool instruction available free, while also having retail sales of their instructional videos at reasonable prices. Kudos and many thanks to Tor Lowry and his production team.

I sent him my application on his Tor lowry account and on zero x billiards. the message said it is seen but no reply. well. I guess they didn't liked it.

More likely they are booked right now and will be in touch with you later.
