Tournament at the Zembo Shrine Temple in Harrisburg Pa.

A friend this morning at work mentioned a "Professional Pool Tournament at the Zembo Shrine" Temple in Harrisburg Pa. this month. I told him I didn't know anything about it. He called and said it was TAP. Anyone know anything about this? Is it just a TAP league tournament or is it a Pro event that TAP is sponsoring? He insisted that it they are promoting it as a Pro event. So close to me that I want to know more if it is a Pro event.

It's not a "pro" event. The next event listed on the UPA site is Vegas. From there, they're going to FL. At the most, they might get a pro in the event. Mike Davis would be the closest one that might show up at an event like this but it's my understanding that he's in FL. Vegas starts next week and FL starts the following week so unless someone has time to stop by on their way to FL, depending on the date, I seriously doubt that any pro's will be there.

The ONLY pool in this area is league.... Maybe they think their top league players are "pro" and they're promoting it that way... (sigh) this place BLOWS when it comes to pool.... :rolleyes:

Your right, probably some kind of Pro wrestler swiming event. :eek:

Im not entirely sure where that came from. There is an event at the shrine, but it is a TAP titleholder. No pro's or pro events unless someone forgot to tell us about it. Still gonna be a blast.

The last time I was at a titleholder in Carlisle (Sept.'04), Jim told me that he wanted to do a pro exihibition of some sort in the future. Since neither he nor Scotty ever mentioned it again, I can only assume that this pro event is just a rumor. I'm sure that if it were true, I would know about it by now.

Ya, its a local TAP tri-annual titleholder. No pro's will be there unless they are just visiting. Might be something in the near future though....we'll see what they come up with.
