I owned a software company and one of my engineers bought a white shinny panel (very inexpensive) at Home Depot. He had one wall completely covered with them and used a dry erase marker to write. It worked great.

You might want to use a permanent marker for the lines and such and then use the washable stuff for the players names.

I downloaded them from playpool.com, took them to Kinko's and had them enlarged and laminated. Been using them for about 3 years and they are still doing the job. When I'm done, I just roll them up, throw them in the car and move on to the next tournament.

That's what I would recommend doing. I've done this same thing.

I did close to the same thing. I ordered the package of charts from the BCA then had each one of them copied and laminated. Eventually, they'll get hard to erase, esp if someone forgets to clean them immediately after a tourney and leaves the dry erase ink on there for several days, but they're cheap to get copied and laminated.

I have laminated charts for my events. I use "Expo" to wipe off the permanent marker. Works every time.

Barbara, Thanks... If I ever LOSE MY MIND again and open another pool room, I'll keep that in mind! :)

Wow, that’s a good tip. I just tried it using a Sharpie. The mark doesn’t seam to rub off too easily after drying. But Expo cleans it right off. Thanks

I use a metal foil chart adhered to a sheet of aluminum for small tourneys, with a wet erase marker (overhead projector marker). I’ve been looking for a better way to do a 64 player chart.
