I recently had an idea for a $100 buy-in 10 Ball Ring Game.
The format would be this....
32 player field (or possibly 64 players)
1st round would be 8 groups of 4 players. Each player has 10 $1 chips. The 5 ball would be worth $1 and the 10 would be worth $2. Players would draw high ball for break. Each early pocketed money ball would be spotted. No push outs. No intentional safeties, etc (like a regular ring game). Winner of first round would be last man standing (having $40 in chips obviously).
2nd round
with 8 players remaining, there would be two groups of four with each player starting with $20 in chips. Again, the values would be $1 on the 5 and $2 on the ten.
Finals Head-to-head with each player starting with $40 in chips.
$2 on the 5 and $5 on the ten.
Payouts (based on 32 man field)
1st - $1200
2nd- $800
3rd-8th- $200
What do you guys think?
