Tru Balance Question

I have an old Tru Balance that I wanted a shaft made from it. I don't want to go through the process of having in made into a shaft and end up having it play like crap. Would it be easy to assume that if I have a tip put on it, like the way it plays as a one piece, that I will like how it plays on my cue? Also, I believe that the cue is a billiard Tru Balance as it is only 53" or is it just really old? It has the gold and green label. Thanks

well. it may not be able to be converted size wise. also tip ferrule and taper will be different so it wont help any

if u have a caliper measure the top of the points then 30'' twards the ferrule

It is 1.04" right above the points and I have a little over 30" from points to bottom of ferrule.

the points isnt the problem it may be only 12.5 at the 30'' mark by the ferrule

sorry man. unless u like a super small shft. like 12.4 max. times $$$$ not wrth it IMO
