SPM Billiards Magazine just published a review of TruShim in Issue 63 (pp. 52-53).

The TruShim isn't just a training aid. It's a revolution in table performance... absolutely my favorite product at the moment." — Dakotah Schmidtknecht

I had the pleasure of playing on a table with TruShims at a recent casino tournament and they are friggin genius. If you have a Valley table I highly recommend getting a set.

Not a math genius, how much smaller does it make the playing surface? Not having seen these yet i'd still probably go with Penguin rails myself. Different take on tightening that's for sure.

Your loosing 3/8" length and width wise. Not sure if that enough that you would notice?
