I have a Tiger X Shaft on order for my Frey. If I get it turned down, will it effect the playing ability of it in any other way then what turning it down would normally do?

The shaft comes in 13mm or 12.75. I like a 12.5 or a little under.

If the shaft is a 12.75 then a light sanding is all that is nessasary to get it down to 12.5. Be careful not to create to much heat as this could affect the glue in the laminations. I would recomend letting a professional do this work for you. They will not have any trouble with this even if the shaft is 13. IMO this should not adversley affect the shaft as far as playability.

As long as the taper isn't changed than I don't think the hit will change.
