I have a Predator 4k2 I dont use anymore and was wondering if you think turning it into a break is a good idea. I was thinking of throwing an OB Break or BK2 shaft on it. Would that make a good break cue?

yes, the key is the low deflection. slight mis-hits on the cue ball are not amplified by the power and you still get a good impact on the headball

put a Samsara break tip on it and you basically have a BK1

I wouldn't waste the money on a BK2 shaft, I have both and there is not a significant difference

the tip makes a bigger difference than the generation of BK shaft, e.g. a BK1 with a Samsara tip hits better than a BK2 with the Predator factory tip.
