TV exposure for the sport...

of pool or billiards is just feeble, it seems to me. Does anyone know of plans by sports production companies to cover more of the multitude of competitions we have here and abroad? When I've attended tournaments, as a spectator not a contender, I always can zero in on lots of different matches that are hard-fought and exciting, even in the early rounds. Seems to me it is the coverage angles and narrow, staid approach to coverage that is failing to make pool as popular as it should be to the television audience. ESPN spends hours and hours televising talking heads sitting behind desks yak yak yaking about mainline sports and it pains the hell out of me that I can't see coverage of real-time matches that I know are going on all the time through-out the country and world wide, for that matter.
