Wouldn't it be nice if pool on ESPN was more entertaining for both the occaisional viewer and the people that love the game. I know we have all seen posts about how to change it to make it more interesting. I think pool lacks player and equipment information. Not the "cheesy" wrestling style that they tried either. Smoke filled entrances and half hearted bashing comments before the match. Maybe at the beginning of matches a look into what each player uses...i.e. the cues that they play with...(sponsership will grow and maybe the players can actually make some money)...I am always curious to see what cue someone is playing with...it would help the custom cue makers...and maybe a little info about the player...so that the occaisional viewer can "get to know" the person they are watching as apposed to just a cardboard cut out banging some balls. This could take just a few minutes of the hour and give the players some personality and the people watching a decision of who to cheer for in the match. Also, not enough mens events on TV! Love watching Allison, but we need to see more Efren, Archer, Immonen, Earl (love to hate 'em), Busta and some of the up and comers. Just my opinion of course.
