I had a piece of my slate break it was in the right corner pocket at the foot of my table if you are standing at the head. The break was I guess clean enough to where you could put the piece back in and it would hold by itself I used a two part epoxy like the 5 minute kind and glued it back together. I let it sit overnight and lightly sand it all even tonight. It broke off where one of rail bolt go in but it all looks and feels pretty sturdy. Should I be wary of tightening that bolt up or should it be fine. The other question is is it okay to remove the old 3m 77 with goof off I tried with just a razor blade and that seemed to work okay. Wasn't sure if it was okay to use goof off to get it completely clean. Thanks for the advice in advance.
