Wow, well, Quinten just showed why all of us over here are not fans LOL.


He was running the table out, and snookered himself on the 8-ball, he immediately threw his cue at the balls, scattering them everywhere and walked back to his chair!!!!


Darren Appleton quite rightly said that he conceeded the rack, but he had to run the whole table out.


Just a shocking example of what Hann can do when it gets to him!!
 
Yes, absolutely right.

Why did the referee not intervene though? It was a clear concession. Darren MUST get his break going here or he is in trouble.

That was pretty crazy, thats twice he's hooked himself on that 8 and just lashed at the cueball. It is obvious that hann doesn't have quite the cb control as he doesn at Snooker, he has the same head though!:p
 
The female referee seemed to just stand there and stare while Darren asked Quinten if he conceeded lol.

She's useless, she's spent all her time asking Darren to speak up because she can't understand his accent! Grrr

Funny my mam asked if she was a man or a women lol :eek:
 
Don't get me wrong, I love british, but the best pool players are in the building why they keep on showing all European players? Nobody is watching. I bet all eyes are on the other side of the room where we could here the yelling and clapping.
 
Along with Earl, Hann is one of the guys I was expecting to have a blow up:)

How did Darren run the table out after the balls had been scattered out of place?
 
Jeez yeah, just heard her aswell!

They really need proper refs here, actually walking rather than standing there.
 
Darren ran it out fine, the balls were pretty easy but he still had to keep his nerve.


COME ON DARREN 7-5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There wasnt any problem balls but still pressure and hann would have had an edge if he had missed. As for the Brits, its Euro Sport, and the Snooker players are going to attract more viewers. I just wish they would have a ticker one the screen showing latest scores, they show nothings its garbage!

They need to get Nigel Reese, and Michaela Tabb over there to show the idiots how it's properly done:rolleyes:
 
There are plenty of referees that have been trained by both the BPPPA (British Pool Association) and also the EPBF (Euro Tour).

If KT wanted to maybe try and increase the standard of the matches, he could try and get some of the referees over who have been trained to actually "ref".

It might be that these refs are certified referees, but they just don't seem to be, they need to get involved in the action more rather than just standing by the side waiting to turn the score card over.
 
Easy on the ref now guys! I'm sure that they'll eventually be up to your standards.:rolleyes: Still too new, the kinks will surely be worked out.

I'm trying to imagine Hann's face if that had been the verdict! I'm worried what might happen if Hann loses his next match because I could see him doing something very silly in his last two matches if he does.
 
Have i read correctly? Appleton still had to run out the rack that Hann conceded?

Don't the rules state if you foul on the 8ball you lose? Although it should be irrelevant, it should be concession of rack whether he was on the 8 or not.
 
I want to make sure I understand this correctly....

He throws his cue on the table

The cue makes contact with the balls on the table

The balls move due to this and it's not considered concession of game or a foul???

This can't be right... did I read this wrong?
