Understanding the dedicated break cue

I would like to ask for responses from the USER perspective on whose AMERICAN MADE dedicated break cue they prefer and why. Please briefly describe features and performance observations.

Please do not discuss commercial matters.

Please do not discuss off shore products.

If you're at the point where a dedicated break cue is preferable over a J/B, there are a large number of cuemakers who can give you a product that will perform nearly as well. Gulyassy specifically has developed a reputation for break cue performance, but I wouldn't rule out any of the top 50 or so cuemakers. Pick one who has a style you enjoy, research the forums (gallery and reviews), and you should be perfectly satisfied with whatever you end up with.

OB Break Cue

I have had several break cues, Predator BK2, Mezz Power Break II, Gullassy, and a few others that are from cue makers maybe not as well known. I personally believe that with my OB I get the most power out of my break with the easiest cue ball contorl.

I have never had a break cue that I can hit the balls as hard with and squat the cue ball in the middle of the table as my OB Break Cue.

Not to mention from my experience OB cues stands behind their product as well if not better than any other cue maker I have ever dealt with.
