Uni-loc collar help?

Hello dear experts!

This is an old Buffalo cue I think. I had the local cue maker change the pin and collar. I asked to have it done to fit a Mezz shaft. They mismatched the diameter so the cue collar is to thin. Anyways, I'm getting i redone but this time I'm getting a uni-loc pin as I play with Predator shafts. My question is what kind of collar works for the uni-loc pin system. I don't mind stainless steel but thought some other material would match the old school look of the cue. What do you guys think?

Any collar will work - it doesn't matter what pin is installed. The Uni-Loc QR pin is just like any other pin, in that the pin makes it possible for two pieces to be screwed together as one. The only two thing that different collar materials make is (1) looks, and (2) feel of the hit. The current collar on your cue should work just fine.

Rambow, Balabushka, and Szamboti used stainless steel. Doesn't get much more 'old school' than that.
