This is a vintage Joe Porper (Creative Inventions) unique cue. Joe did not make duplicates of his cues and each was a one-of-a-kind unique cue. This cue has two original shafts and one of the shafts is unused and has never bee chalked. The cue has Joe's custom piloted joint with a custom radial pin. This cue is 58" long and weighs approx. 19 oz. with either shaft. It has an irish linen wrap with ivory colored diamonds on ebony lining the top and bottom of the wrap.. Joe is a great pool player, and his cues have a softer hitting reverse piloted concave cone joint that screws into a linen phenolic insert in the shaft. The cue has four floating ebony points on the shaft and butt that Joe made by hand on a pantograph. The cue and shafts have nickel silver rings on the joints. I bought this cue new, directly from Joe Porper approx. 15 years ago. I shot 5 or 6 balls (not games) with only one of the shafts, then cased the cue and two shafts where it has remained ever since. This unique cue is very collectible as Joe Porper no longer makes cues. The JP (joe Porper) logo is on the butt plate.
