Universal Smart shaft

Seems to me like they weren't very much appreciated as it is or they would still be selling.

I tend to think that they won't be too collectible if that's what you are asking.

IMO These shafts sucked... Great concept with the interchangable joints but bad design. The people who made them never took into consideration that the plastic was not rigid enough to withstand the constant changing of the joint inserts. Had nothing but problems with all of mine. Whenever I wanted to remove the joint insert and change to a different thread, the fitting would end up sticking to the Butt end of the cue and the shaft would unscrew leaving just the fitting on the cue so tight it felt like somebody glued it on. I had to remove several of these by using some type of pliers and ruined the fitting in the process since they were plastic. I actually thought they should have improved on the design and relaunched a newer more thought out version. I still think the Idea was great but it never caught on.

I had the same problem with the adapters sticking, I had to use a strap wrench to change them. I loved the idea of useing the same shaft for each cue I had and they played good also. But the problem with the adapters was enough for me to sell mine with all 4 adapters on ebay.
,,I wish someone else would come up with another updated version...
