Here are some pics of the cue I told y'all about a couple weeks ago. It needs a tip and ferrell on one shaft and I'm wanting to send it out to get the shafts retapped. It was bought new in '93. Hits pretty good both shafts are straight.
I'm looking for 200 before the retap and 250 after. A nice case 2x1 or 4x2 would be considered for trades.

Sorry about the pic quality I'm new to the scanner.

Andy

What are you looking for in a trade? I have another no-name cue that I wouldn't mind unloading. It is a Southwest copy that I paid $300 for. I like the unwrapped cues so I am interested. Let me know.

Hay what kind of pin is that ? And what is the weight .Just asking..pm

Pin

A couple people have asked me about the weight and pin. The cue is around 19 oz I don't think it weighs too much more than that. I believe the pin is a 3/8th 11 but I'm not sure. Is the 11 how many threads are in an inch? It has a flat wood to wood joint if you can't tell by my slick camera work. Thanks for checking it out and let me know if there's any questions.

The pin in my cue is a 3/8 x11 and it is in the 19.0 - 19.5 range. 2 shafts, one with a moori, one with a triangle. Six high/low macassar ebony points with maple/ebony veneers, brown and white speck linen wrap, really sharp looking cue, plays like a cue costing much more. I just don't use it, and I am not trying to be a cue collector either. it used to be my daily driver, now it sits in the garage.

Buddha...
The first things I look at when checking out a cue is:
the joint screw/ the hole it goes into/ the butt cap area/ last> the base of the cue then the forearm...
if you could get good photos of these areas it makes it much easier to judge the cue.
Photos you have taken are helpful but a little more close detail would be nice.
They do look pretty good, how do they hit?

Buddha

Start your own thread! Just kidding. Is that at your house with the table and all? Must be doin' all right for a monk!
A couple people have asked me about trading cues but I'm really looking for a nice case in trade. Something along the Instroke line. I do have a back up plan if nobody wants to trade but I'm not desperate....yet.

Have a good day everyone

Andy :p

Funny, I took those pictures, I thought they were in the group that I posted. UGH! I will check on that when I get home. I am sorry that the pics came out so bad, I will try and get more light in there or something. As far as the hit, it is the second best hitting cue that I have, and a close second at that behind my Jacoby. If it was me best hitting cue, I'd be keeping it.

DawgAndy: Yeah, that is my house with my table in it. That is a 9 foot Gandy Big 'G' with Camel Simonis 760 on it. It plays super fast, lots of action off the rails. I'll take some more pics of that also and post them.

Later...
