Six pointer in the SouthWest style, 3 high 3 low cocobolo points with green and black veneers. Cue is standard 58", 13mm tip, about 18.5 oz (will verify weight later). Cue was purchased by me about 7 years ago. I had a new irish linen wrap put on it and the butt cap was replaced, original was broken. Cue is straight, but there is a slight uneveness at the joint when assembled, you can feel it. It's never bothered me enough to have it turned down or refaced. The cuemaker who worked on this cue several years ago guessed it to be at least 15 years old, said the wood was well aged and the cue was solidly made. This has been my primary shooter at times, and my backup other times. Asking $250 shipped in the upper 48.

OK, how about $450 then?

I got it at a great price several years ago, because of the broken butt cap. I paid to have it fixed, refinished, cleaned, new Irish linen wrap, etc. I really don't want to sell it, but I have the urge for a traditional cue, stainless joint, 4 pointer, etc. I also now prefer longer cues, 59-60". So I'm open to trade offers. I don't know how to "value" this cue as I don't know who made it. I just know what I paid and what I spent to have it repaired. All I have to go on is what it looks like. There were a lot of cheap knock-offs of SouthWest cues over the last 10+ years. This might be a cheap knock-off. But the cuemaker who did the repairs felt like it was a well made cue.....and did not think it was made in Taiwan. But that's one opinion. So, I'll gladly take more than $250 if you think it's worth more. Or I"ll consider trades for a longer cue.

Looks like it could possibly be a "Cousins" cue. He used that style of butt sleeve and 6pt forearm.

Cue

Not a cousins. The veneers in the butt sleeve don't match the point veneers. I really love the look of the cue. I am very tempted, but I can't even fathom the maker.

I would love to buy that from you, regardless of whoever made it, but alas, 250 is a tad more then i have available.. :(

if you need any computer services in trade though I would be more then happy to talk to you on it..

Lots of tire kickers, but nobody's bought it yet.

For all the NC locals who've shown interest: I play at NY Billiards on Atlantic and Spring Forest on Tuesday nights. I'll be the big ugly guy at one of the first two tables on your left when you walk in the door. Ask for Heath! ;) I should have both cues and the case with me. And I'll trade like I mentioned earlier.
