Up and down

Friday, I beat a guy out of $250. Not just any guy, but this guy was THE main stick when I started playing about ten years ago. My game is very similar to his, in style, for obvious reasons. Today (Tuesday), I lost $125 back to the same guy. Now, I'm still $125 ahead.

My question is, why does today feel worse than Friday felt good?

My guess would be because you thought you passed that guy up on Friday and now you're not sure if you really did or not.

reno...you might just have been having a bad day, or he could have been into deep zone...or vice versa...:D

Because you’re a competitor and losing doesn’t sit well with you. Yeah, sometimes you’re the bug and sometimes you’re the windshield. No big deal. Next time play a little harder.
