The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is at Cap's Cue Club in Syracuse, NY this weekend with 32 players competing for a $4,060 total prize fund.

Some notable players in the field include Dennis Hatch, Jason Michas, Karen Corr, Bucky Souvanthong, Eric Hildebrand, Mario Morra, Gary Empey, Dick Cappotto, Bob Talbot, Mike Zuglan and Lyn Wechsler.

They are down to the final eight players and Sunday’s matches starting at noon are;

On the Winners Side:
Gary Empey vs Dennis Hatch
Karen Corr vs Dick Cappotto

On the One Loss Side:
Lyn Wechsler vs Bucky Souvanthong
Eric Hildebrand vs Mario Morra

Also, Mike Zuglan is taking entries for the recently announced Turning Stone Classic 9-Ball Open events scheduled for February 22th thru 25th, 2007 and August 16th thru 19th, 2007 respectively, at the beautiful Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.

These $25,000 added events will surely fill fast and are limited to the first 128 paid entries. Both events require a pre-entry and you MUST contact Mike Zuglan to enter!

Remember, the previous seven Turning Stone events were filled to capacity with many players being "shut out", so enter early!

The Turning Stone is a non-alcohol serving casino which means you only need to be 18 to gamble on the casino floor. All ages are welcome in the Event Center and spectator admission is FREE.

and then Dennis Hatch over Dick Cappotto 9-3

Dennis Hatch was in the hot seat!

On the One Loss Side;

then:

So then it came down to Dennis Hatch and Dick Cappotto in the finals.., true Double Elimination Format.
