The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is at Golden Cue Billiards in Albany, NY this weekend with 48 players competing for a $6,840 total prize fund.

Some notable players in the field include Tom "Shorty" D'Alfonso, Keith McCready, Mike Zuglan, Canada's Danny Hewitt, Tony Ruberto, Frank Sorriento, and Dave Fernandez.

They are down to the final eight players and Sunday’s matches starting at noon are;

On the Winners Side:
Dave Fernandez vs Jeff Smolen
Danny Hewitt vs Dave Pinkston

On the One Loss Side:
Chance Chin vs Sam Frangi
Keith McCready vs Tony Ruberto

Also, Mike Zuglan is taking entries for the recently announced Turning Stone Classic VII 9-Ball Open which will also serve as the 2006 Joss Tour Season Finale.

This $25,000 added event will fill fast and is limited to the first 128 paid entries. It will take place on August 17th - 20th, 2006 at the beautiful Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.

Remember, the previous six Turning Stone events were SOLD OUT so enter early!

The Turning Stone is a non-alcohol serving casino which means you only need to be 18 to gamble on the casino floor. All ages are welcome in the Event Center and spectator admission is FREE.

Dave Pinkston (He posts on this board under the screen name racefornine) beats Jr Chin 9/3 to win his first ever Joss title. Jeff Smolen got 3rd and Keith Me Cready gets 4th.... Was another great weekend at a joss event at the Golden Cue in Albany NY......................mike

I'd just like to thank cueball1950 for the post. I would also like to thank Golden Cue, the owners and staff were great hosts. Mike Zuglan is as usual a fantastic tournament director and sportsman. This is such an accomplishment for me. I had such a great bunch of players from my room pulling for me, Its been an all around great experience.
